An expert in biologics with 12 years of professional experience, Mr. Jones has served as president and chief executive officer of Ascend Surgical Sales, LLC, for the past three years. He oversees all business operations, finances, human resources, and quality control. He also oversees 58 distributors, a warehouse, and offices in Dallas, Texas, and Las Vegas, Nev. In addition, he coordinates trade shows.

Ascend Surgical Sales, LLC, distributes medical devices and manufactures biotechnology specific to the spine and clinical education for physicians and professionals throughout the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Japan and Mexico. The company continues to partner with customers to improve their clinical skills, practical performance and patient services through the use of advanced medical devices and new technologies.

Mr. Jones started Ascend Surgical along with his childhood friend and CLO/CFO Johnny Givens and is a minority owner in an AATB Certified Bone Bank. Mr. Jones is currently filing three patents and looking for approval in the Spring of 2012.

A graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in sports medicine. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, North American Spine Society, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue new patent development ideas relating to the spine markets.
