Dr. Armando Moncada is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists

DAHLONEGA, GA, August 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Armando Moncada, MD, Chief Medical Officer at PCG Labs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical research.

With 20 years of experience in the health care field, Dr. Moncada has spent seven years as the chief medical officer at PCG Labs. During his career, he has acquired extensive knowledge of surgical and anatomic pathology, cytopathology, and gynecology. He is responsible for overseeing all of the daily laboratory activities, including conducting molecular examinations and establishing diagnoses.

After receiving an MD from Tulane University, Dr. Moncada remained at the school to complete both an internship and residency. Furthermore, he participated in a fellowship with City of Hope. He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Society for Clinical Pathology. Dr. Moncada is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and American College of Physician Executives, and is the former president of TEXPATH. Additionally, he is a supporter of local charitable organizations. In the future, he hopes to become the premium health care provider for people throughout Georgia.
