Dr. Paul Pietro Puts Women First in his Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice

CHESTER, SC, October 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul A. Pietro, MD, Gynecologist at Women First, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of medicine.

Dr. Pietro has 19 years of experience in his field and has worked with Women First, LLC, a gynecology only practice, for two and a half years. His area of expertise includes minimally invasive, advanced laparoscopic surgeries, hysteroscopies, endoscopies and pelvic reconstructive procedures. While going through medical rotations as a student, he decided to focus on gynecology because he liked the surgical aspect of the work in combination with the psychological aspect. He felt that it was a good fit for him and the career he wanted to build.

Dr. Pietro earned an MD at the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1989. He previously obtained a bachelor of arts in psychology, also at Creighton University. He refined and expanded his experience through his training and teaching at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Affiliated with the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the AAGL, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, Dr. Pietro hopes to continue increasing his knowledge of new procedures, while expanding his practice into weight loss education. He also intends to increase his use of alternative medicines, including Reiki; he has already become a Reiki Master.
