Dr. Prasanna L. Soni is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery

CANTON, OH, September 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Prasanna L. Soni, President of the Soni Orthopaedic Clinic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in orthopedics.

Since 1977, Dr. Soni has been involved in the field of healthcare and orthopedic surgery. Although he no longer performs major surgeries, throughout his career he has completed over 10,000 surgical procedures and administered care to 40,000 patients. An expert in lower back pain management, Dr. Soni is a highly respected writer; his work has been published in several scientific journals. In addition, he serves as a clinical assistant professor at Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Dr. Soni's residency in orthopedic surgery was completed at Saint Luke's Medical Center. Prior to this, he interned at Marymount Hospital. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is affiliated with the Stark County Medical Society, The Ohio State Medical Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Soni intends to continue practicing medicine and providing care to the uninsured.
