Samantha Jensen Recognized for Excellence in Nursing
Samantha Jensen was nominated for the Nurse of the Year Award in 2010
LANSING, MI, August 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samantha Jensen, RN, Registered Nurse for Sparrow Health System, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.
Registered nurses for Sparrow Health System, Ms. Jensen specializes in gastrointestinal surgery, gastric bypass surgery and prostate surgery nursing. She monitors patients on a 30-bed surgical floor, assists them after surgery, checks for clots, and infection, dresses their wounds, trains new nurses and acts as the charge nurse when necessary. She attributes her success to her hard work, dedication and passion for her profession.
Ms. Jensen received her Associate of Science in Nursing and designation as a Registered Nurse through Baker College in 2007. Since, she has attained certifications in CPR, Basic Life Support. In the future, she intends to pursue her bachelor of science in nursing and earn the clinical experience to train others.
