AUSTIN, TX, July 18, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Vineet Choudhry MD has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his spectacular work in the Healthcare Industry. As a Surgeon and the head of Northstar Surgery Specialists, Dr. Choudhry has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Northstar Surgery Specialists offers a wide spectrum of surgical expertise. This includes procedures in general, colorectal, endoscopic, minimally invasive, endocrine, breast, vascular, and critical care surgery. Their goal is to eventually add other surgery specialists with the common mission of advancing the practice of surgery. This will be accomplished through being involved with continuing medical education, research, advancements in surgical technology, and involvement in medical teaching with the Austin area medical students.

During his educational career, Dr. Choudhry graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. He then received his medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. After successfully completing his specialty training residency in General Surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas, he returned to Austin in 2008 to open his medical practice.

Dr. Choudhry is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, American College of Surgeons and the Travis County Medical Society among others. He is Board Certified in General Surgery from the American Board of Surgery, and holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS.
