WAILUKU, HI, July 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Dr. Christy Takemoto, Physician for Maui Medical Group, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in women's healthcare.

A respected specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Christy Takemoto recently marked her second anniversary with Maui Medical Group. In charge of seeing an average of 30 patients a day, she manages the labor and delivery unit and performs gynecologic surgeries. Dr. Takemoto earned her MD in 2003 from the University of Missouri. A junior fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she considers helping women to be the most rewarding aspect of her work. She looks forward to expanding operations for Maui Medical Group and aspires to one day establish her own practice.
