Sonia S. Foote celebrates six years as an administrator for the Lakewood Surgical Center

With six years of experience as Administrator for the Lakewood Surgical Center, Sonia S. Foote is responsible for managing business and clinical operations, recruiting doctors for investment purposes, overseeing the accounting department, performing marketing and human resource functions, hiring employees, scheduling, supervising staff and scheduling surgeries. She became involved in her profession because of her experience in the healthcare industry and keen interest in performance improvement, and she attributes her success to her hard work and determination.

Ms. Foote received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Loretto Heights School of Nursing at Regis University in 1988 and her Associate Degree from North Dakota State University in 1978. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society, the National Association for Healthcare Quality, the Rocky Mountain Perianesthesia Nurses Association, and the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses.
