Elizabeth F. Hurd celebrates eight years as the administrative director of quality outcomes for the Bon Secours Health System, Inc.

With eight years of experience as the administrative director of quality outcomes for the Bon Secours Health System, Inc., Elizabeth F. Hurd is responsible for monitoring clinical outcomes including mortality rates, re-admissions, complications, and pay for performance programs, as well as improving processes throughout all departments. Ms. Hurd has been a registered nurse for 35 years, during which time she has gained extensive experience in management and critical care. She became involved in her profession through her interests in the administrative aspects of patient care, and she attributes her success to her honesty, integrity and desire to help her patients.

Ms. Hurd received a Master of Science in nursing administration from George Mason University. In addition to her formal education, she is a registered nurse and a certified professional in healthcare quality. She is a member of the Virginia Branch of the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
