As an Orthopedic Surgeon and the Owner of Capital Orthopedics, Dr. Hocking has routinely performed at a transcendent level.

In his practice, Dr. Hocking cares for patients with a variety of physical ailments and concerns. Among the numerous services available to patients are Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Navigated Joint Replacement, Arthroscopic Knee Reconstruction, Hip Arthroscopy and Orthopedic Trauma Surgery. Dr. Hocking holds particular expertise in the areas of Adult Hip and Knee Surgery as well as Pediatric Orthopedics.

Dr. Hocking earned Bachelor of Science Degrees in Medicine and Surgery, graduating with Honors from The University of New South Wales. He began his professional career as an Intern at The Prince of Wales Hospital where he went on to enthusiastically completing the first part of his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

This led him to commence his training as an Orthopedic Surgeon which brought him through Concord Repatriation and General Hospital, Sydney Children's Hospital, The Prince of Wales Hospital and Westmead Hospital. From there Dr. Hocking continued forward through advanced training courses until he eventually completed his training while working at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal Alexandria Hospital for Children, The Mater and Westmead Adults Hospital.

Dr. Hocking was awarded with The Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopedics) in 2006.He is a member of the Australian Orthopedic Association and is an International Affiliate of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
