Robin K. Dhillon, MD celebrates 25 years of healthcare experience

Dhillon, formerly Medical Consultant for the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers Association, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery and general medicine.

With 25 years of healthcare experience, Dr. Dhillon was primarily responsible for evaluating workers' compensation claims. A retired cardiothoracic surgeon, he is currently teaching Surgical Anatomy at medical school. Dr. Dhillon also consults on Medical issues in private. He stays current with the trends in his profession by enrolling in continuing education courses online and reading industry-related publications. He became involved in his profession because of his enthrallment by the giving aspects & technical demands of his career. He was later diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, had to give up the technical aspects of his career but wanted to help others with the same affliction. He attributes his success to his persistence and educational background.

Dr. Dhillon received his MD from Hahnemann Medical College of the Drexel University College of Medicine and holds an MBA. He trained in General Surgery in Cleveland, Ohio & Jackson, Mississippi, where he continued training in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Affiliated with the the Ohio Medical Association, he feels that the declining number of physicians & increasing encroachment of purely cost-based goals are the most important issues facing his field.
