Patricia M. Dieterichs was voted one of the Top 100 nurses in Dallas

SHERMAN, TX, July 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia M. Dieterichs, RN, Director of Outpatient Surgery for Texoma Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the nursing field.

As the director of outpatient surgery for Texoma Medical Center, Ms. Dieterichs is responsible for overseeing all aspects of outpatient surgery, scheduling patients and staff, coordinating schedules of surgery and endoscopy, facilitating pain management treatment, working with staff members to maintain the hospital's standard of excellence and quality care reviews, and assisting doctors with surgeries. She has always wanted to help others and began as a nurse in the medical surgical unit. After advancing to the critical care and quality management units, she became the director. She attributes her success to her work ethic, love for her profession and to the support she receives from her staff and family.

Ms. Dieterichs is a member of the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses and the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nursing and was voted one of the Top 100 Nurses in Dallas. In the future, she intends to become involved in consulting.
